Jim came to my home and gave me a demonstration and an estimate for the vinyl replacement windows I had asked about. He also suggested replacing a deck door to further insulate my condo for the winter. His crew installed the windows on schedule and cleaned up after the job, so I highly recommend this company to other homeowners.

Jim Shields was very professional, he explained and covered everything that was going to be done, from top to bottom on the house siding. I also had Jim install Harvey Replacement windows, which are great. I am happy with all the work that I had done. Jim has a great crew working for him, hardworking, polite and professional. A job well done!!!!

Northshore Window is LOCAL; they are located 2-3 miles from my home. Nationally advertised window companies are located 3000 miles from my home. Jim and his employees provided quality care from initial evaluation throughout installation. I felt comfortable having the work done in my home while I was out of the house. Work was done cleanly, neatly, as described, and on schedule. The quality of windows described more than meets my expectations. My home is more attractive and will be warmer this winter thanks to North Shore Window and Siding.

I am very pleased with the work that was done for me. Through no fault of Northshore Window, the first windows that were delivered were incorrect. The manufacturor sent the wrong color. That is the only reason that I would rate them as “fair” in Timeliness. Jim was a pleasure to work with and kept me posted on a regular basis as to the status of my order. The men that installed the windows were very professional and took care in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. They also took the time to explain how to care for the windows. I would highly recommend Northshore to anyone looking to have their windows replaced!

I have only good things to say about Jim and his crew. Jim provided me with a quote and explained to me in detail what they will be doing and not doing. The crew is very professional, showed up on time, finished the job nice and clean. I spent a bit more compared with other quotes I got, but it definitely worth it.

We had 3 windows and 1 slider put into a sunroom, along with a bay window. The 3 windows and slider needed to have new openings, and we have very old aluminum siding. Northshore did a great job with cutting out the openings, and re-using our existing siding. We’d recommend them, and will hire them again for a similar project we have coming up in the near future. The staff is very professional and proficient. Our calls were always returned, and our questions were always answered. And we asked a lot!

Unlike most contractors I’ve worked with, the service was timely and excellent. I would definitely recommend North Shore to others.

Jim Shields and his crew could not have been nicer. They did a professional, quick, and clean job. I replaced 26 windows and a sliding door and they had the job done in 2 1/2 days. I am so happy with my new windows, and I already notice a difference with my A/C efficiency… I can’t wait for winter to test them. I could not give a higher recommendation to a business, they are A++++. I’ve already recommended them to others.
